Australian Inflation Unchanged In June: Survey
SYDNEY — Australian inflation was unchanged in June, according to a survey by TD Securities – Melbourne Institute. On an annual basis, the inflation gauge rose 2.9%, compared to a 3.3% advance in May. The survey said that price rises for fruit and vegetables, holiday travel and accommodation, and audio, visual and computing were strong in June but were offset by falls in prices for automotive fuel, books, newspaper and magazines, and clothing and footwear.
